Finance Assistant

This varied and busy role will require you to be able to work to tight deadlines and have a keen eye for detail. Although experience with Sage 50 would be an advantage, training will be given to all successful candidates regardless of level of previous experience. It is, therefore, necessary that you are a quick learner, and adapt easily to new processes.

We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic, organised individual, with a strong work ethic and a great telephone manner who will enjoy being part of a dynamic team. You must be trustworthy, reliable and looking to develop your skills. You should be IT savvy and good with numbers. To be able to multi-task and use your own initiative is very important.

Training will be provided

Location:  Office based, Oxford, City
Salary: £20,000 to £21,500 per year
Job Type:  Full Time

Essential Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Word and Excel)
  • Invoicing – Sales and Purchase Ledger experience
  • Bank accounts reconciliation
  • Book-keeping experience
  • Input of accounts data onto Sage 50
  • Assisting with payroll
  • Filing/Data management
  • Assisting the team with queries
  • Answering the phone
